PHOENIX – Best Western International today announced the launch of the “Status Match, No Catch” program, which rewards members of its free global Best Western Rewards loyalty program with matching elite status of any other hotel loyalty program—free of charge.
Beginning today, new and existing Best Western Rewards members can upgrade their Rewards status by contacting (800) 444-7646 or BWRelite@bestwestern.com and providing proof of elite status with another hotel loyalty program. Best Western Rewards points will be earned at the equivalent elite status immediately. Members of Best Western Speed Rewards and Best Western Ride Rewards are also eligible.
“Road warriors who face devalued loyalty programs at other chains will benefit from their Best Western Rewards Elite status by earning special benefits even faster at our hotels, including perks like room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out privileges when available,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western. “In addition, as one of the richest hotel loyalty programs in the industry, Best Western Rewards elite members will have the ability to earn up to 30 percent more Rewards points with each qualifying stay.”
Elite status levels available through Best Western Rewards include:
• Gold Elite (awarded after 10 qualified nights in one calendar year), which earns a 10 percent Rewards bonus;
• Platinum Elite (awarded after 15 qualified nights in one calendar year), which earns a 15 percent Rewards bonus; and
• Diamond Elite (awarded after 30 qualified nights in one calendar year), which earns a 30 percent Rewards bonus.
