Casa Ojai Inn reflags as an independent

1 Dec, 2009 Hotel and Motel Management

(Ojai, California) -- One of Ojai’s most popular inns, Best Western Casa Ojai, is dropping its franchise name and marketing affiliation on December 1, 2009 and moving forward, will be known as the Casa Ojai Inn.

Located at 1302 East Ojai Avenue in Ojai, the property will be re-branded simply as Casa Ojai Inn, and new signage will be installed marking its transition.

“Ojai has always been filled with family owned businesses. Casa Ojai is no exception”, explains Geoff Wells, President of the newly formed Ojai Hospitality Group. “After 28 years as a member of Best Western, we have decided to embrace Ojai’s desire for a franchise-free, small town atmosphere by separating ourselves from the Best Western label. We fully intend to maintain the high quality product our guests have come to expect here at Casa Ojai Inn. We hope that our guests enjoy the many changes that are being made and thank them for their continued business.”

In addition to the Casa Ojai Inn, the parent company, Ojai Hospitality Group, owns and operates Su Nido Inn, also located in the Ojai Village. Founded in 2008, the company is currently in a growing and acquisition mode, according to Wells.

To celebrate the re-branding of the Casa Ojai, the Inn is offering a special rate for the months of December and January. Sunday through Thursday, the rate for a deluxe room is $85.00; Friday and Saturday, the nightly rate is $105.00, excluding tax and based upon availability.
