Embassy Suites headed to Wilmington, N.C.

Star News Online reports The Wilmington City Council will consider an agreement with Harmony Hospitality to build an Embassy Suites hotel next to the city's convention center. This is the fourth time since 2007 the city council has tried to sign a developer to build a property in proximity to the Wilmington Convention Center. "Literally, you've got to get ready for construction before the property transaction occurs," city planner Sterling Cheatham told Star News Online. "I think it protects everybody."
