ELK Group International has purchased Georgia-based kitchen and bath manufacturer Xync Brands, producer of the Ryvyr and Hembry Creek brands. ELK is known for its home décor products, and its purchase of Xync (known for its lighting and home décor furnishings) brings it into the kitchen and bath area of furniture and fittings.
Xync Brands manufactures products for the kitchen/bath industry. Each item in Xync’s Ryvyr brand is designed to blend with all elements within the portfolio, including sinks, vessels, vanities, tops, mirrors and plumbing fixtures. Ryvyr will continue to present a collection of bath vanities.
The move also allows both companies to leverage the combined design teams and marketing resources. In addition to Xync’s president, Hal Weinstein, John Weinstein and Sharon Taylor will be joining ELK. Kathy Frank will also continue with marketing communications and customer service support.
