Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester debuts fall-inspired foods and beverages

With temperatures cooling down and the fall season just around the corner, The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester in White Plains invites travelers and locals to experience autumn in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley with a variety of different fall-inspired foods and beverages.

The hotel’s Lobby Lounge menu offers an array of small plates, entrees and sandwiches, many of which utilize seasonal and local ingredients. Guests can select from small plates and starters such as Kung Pao Calamari with toasted peanuts; New York local Murray’s Cheeses with amaretto honey, dried fruit and house made seasonal jam; and the “Lost in the Valley” Market Salad with quinoa, edamame, cucumbers, apples, carrots, tomatoes and poppy seed dressing.

Mains include Goffle Road Farms organic chicken with wild mushroom and asparagus risotto and lemon verbena sage jus; Hudson Valley cage-free Muscovy duck with apple, walnut, pomegranate farro and five spice red plum sauce; and the smoked paprika roasted cauliflower steak with red quinoa, lacinato kale and pine nut caper raisin relish. Guests can also opt for burgers and sandwiches such as the mesquite BBQ turkey burger with smoked mozzarella, turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and sweet potato fries; or the zesty spiced vegan burger with avocado, arugula and fire roasted red pepper vegenaise, served on a multigrain bun.

For those that opt to drink in the fall flavors, seasonal handcrafted cocktails include the Westchester Mule with Tanqueray Number 10 Gin, mint, ginger beer and lime juice; and the Forbidden Forest with Tito’s Vodka, blackberries, lime juice and rosemary.
