NEW YORK -- HOTEC Operations & Technology, set to take place February 15-18 at the stately Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay in California, is expecting an impressive turn out for the 9th annual event.
“As the leader in the industry, we have experienced great success with HOTEC Operations and are excited to further expand the conversation to include invaluable technology insights,” said Mary Malloy, show director. “The HOTEC brand has become synonymous with top-rate peer-to-peer networking and renowned professional education where attendees can truly maximize their time and resources to build strong, long-standing contacts for future business. With the new focus and unique format, we are seeing an increased demand for attendance to this calendar event."
HOTEC Operations & Technology features a one-on-one meeting format offering buyers and suppliers pre-scheduled, informative meetings with the contacts they choose to meet and select in advance. It will bring top-producing, qualified hosted buyers together with hand-selected suppliers representing the best of the lodging industry. Attendees will conduct months’ worth of appointments in 5-star surroundings dedicated to supporting business objectives. During the two-day event, attendees will gain significant market intelligence that is not available in books, reviews or articles, but is uniquely gained through the focus of the HOTEC event.
Also featured at this year’s event is a fireside chat with Nicholas Clayton, president, Viceroy Hotels; John Washko, VP of operations, Auberge Resorts; and Ruthanne Terrero, VP & editorial director, Questex Hospitality + Travel, in which they will discuss the pulse of what's happening in the industry overall and how it relates specifically to operations and technology.
Buyers are already confirmed from major hotel chains, purchasing and management companies including Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, Four Seasons, Sage Hospitality Resources and White Lodging. Confirmed OS&E and technology suppliers include Samsung, Proctor & Gamble, Rubbermaid and Predictive Services.
Applications are still being accepted but time is running out. Those interested in applying for fully hosted buyer positions or coveted supplier positions should contact Mary Malloy at 216-706-3728 or MMalloy@questex.com. More information can be found on the event website.
