Studio 11 Design appoints new senior architectural project designer

Dallas-based interiors firm Studio 11 Design appointed Omar Garcia as senior architectural project designer.

Prior to Studio 11, Garcia worked for just over a decade at Wilson Associates, where he rose to senior project architect and headed luxury hospitality projects from Dallas to Macau. Notable brands he worked with include Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Venetian/Sands Corporation and Marriott.

At Studio 11, Garcia is said to be planning to push the envelope on project design by enhancing the colorful elements the firm is known for with “thoughtful architectural aesthetics.”

Garcia has a masters in architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington. He earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Texas Tech University. He also holds certificates from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the AIA, and is an active member of the AIA Dallas. Additionally, he has mastered both Imperial and Metric systems and is fluent in Spanish.
