InterContinental Tangshan opens

 InterContinental Tangshan, the first international five-star hotel in Tangshan, has opened.

The property has 285 guest rooms, including Club Floor, Suites and Accessible Rooms. Minimum room sizes start from 452 square feet, and rooms feature a 42-inch LCD television, audio video equipment, iPod and iPhone base station, wired/wireless Internet access, and working area. The bathroom will have separate shower and bathtub.

The pillar-less Grand Ballroom covers over 12,900 square feet and can be partitioned into three rooms. There are eight multi-function rooms.

For dining, the property has the Imperial Court, featuring Chinese delicacies; Tang Yuan Chinese Restaurant, which specializes in dishes from Guandong province; and Phoenix All Day Dining, which offers international cuisine.
