Marriott to open three new Courtyard properties in Europe

Marriott International has announced three new Courtyard by Marriott hotels will join its portfolio in Europe, hotel-industry.co.uk is reporting.

The hotels are the:

• 120-room Courtyard Le Bourget, France (2013)

• 175-room Courtyard Gdynia, Poland(2014)

• 170-room Courtyard Amsterdam Atlas Park, The Netherlands (2014)

Last November, Marriott unveiled its new prototype for the Courtyard by Marriott brand in Europe. The new Courtyard model is designed to be more locally relevant and appeal to the European traveler, as well as be more economically viable for owners to build and operate. These three hotels will be among the first to debut the new design, in addition to the Courtyard by Marriott Aberdeen and the Courtyard by Marriott Cologne, both scheduled to open in 2013.
