New Marriott branded hotel headed for Philly's Navy Yard

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Liberty Property Trust, a REIT with corporate headquarters in Malvern, Pa., is close to finalizing financing for the new Marriott-branded hotel. In 2003, Liberty Property and and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. devised a master plan to redevelop the Navy Yard.
