Hilton to debut Poland's sixth Garden Inn on the Kolobrzeg seafront in 2019

Hilton and BB Baltic Park are teaming up to open the 128-room Hilton Garden Inn Kolobrzeg in Poland, the first internationally branded hotel in the area. Construction will begin later this year, and the hotel is expected to open in early 2019.

Kolobrzeg has become largest seaside health resort in Poland and is a growing vacation destination. The area is currently experiencing a boost in visitors due to its established ferry links to Sweden and Germany. Kolobrzeg also benefits from the meetings and events demand due to its fish processing and marine transport trade.

"With Kolobrzeg's growing demand across business and leisure travelers, this hotel will provide much needed mid-scale accommodation in the area," Patrick Fitzgibbon, SVP, development, EMEA, Hilton, said in a statement.

Hilton has 30 hotels open or in development across four brands in Poland, and the Hilton Garden Inn Kolobrzeg will be the brand's sixth hotel in the country.

The Hilton Garden Inn Kolobrzeg will be BB Capital Group’s second project developed under a Hilton brand, after Hampton by Hilton in Poznan, which is under construction.
