New restaurant opens at Wisconsin Holiday Inn

Stevens Point, Wis. — The New Year brings a new restaurant to central Wisconsin. The recently opened Amber Grill is part of the 148-room Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center. 

The restaurant is under the direction of chef Albert Schlaepfer, a native of Switzerland who has more than 30 years of international and domestic experience. Schlaepfer is active in the American Culinary Federation, Chef’s de Cuisine Association and the American Institute of Wine & Food. Live Entertainment is featured every Friday night along with bar drink specials and special chef-created appetizers.
