Kempinski Hotels revamps its guest loyalty program

Kempinski Hotels has restructured its Kempinski Discovery Loyalty Program with rewards both within its hotels and destinations.

Program members will progress through each Kempinski Discovery tier level, with immediate benefits determined specifically based on guests' preferences and ranging from guestroom upgrades and late check-out/early check-in, to early access to exclusive offers, concessions at Kempinski restaurants, a butler service and personalized chef services.

The most loyal Kempinski guests, at the highest tier level, will be eligible for entry into an exclusive new Kempinski Private Concierge. This invitation-only club gives guests various privileges, such as a private concierge, invitations and behind-the-scenes access to the selective events in each destination, a 24/7 membership service line and preferential rates on complementary luxury services. Another feature of the Kempinski Discovery program is the Local Experience where guests can explore the culture of each destination.

Kempinski is a founding member and remains a partner of the Global Hotel Alliance, an alliance of independent hotel brands. Members of Kempinski Discovery will receive enhanced benefits during their stay at Kempinski hotels around the world and loyalty privileges when traveling to other GHA properties.

This announcement follows a change to Kempinski’s portfolio—the addition of the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, Latvia’s first Kempinski Hotel. The 141-guestroom hotel was developed on the former Hotel Rome site dating back to the 1880s. It is opening this month near the Latvian National Opera House and the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
