Choice's latest Cambria property opens in New Orleans

Choice Hotels International, in collaboration with Fillmore Capital Partners and Fillmore Hospitality, opened the newest addition to the Cambria Hotels portfolio, the Cambria Hotel New Orleans Warehouse District.

Located at 632 Tchoupitoulas Street, the 162-room, newly constructed, upscale Cambria hotel is located in New Orleans' Arts and Warehouse District, offering numerous dining and entertainment options and the action of the French Quarter. The area has been designated a Louisiana Cultural District. The hotel is blocks from the French Quarter and the New Orleans Convention Center, and is adjacent to the central business district.

"This is another important milestone for the Cambria Hotels brand as we continue to open in markets with a balance of cultural and corporate offerings demanded and valued by today's modern traveler," Janis Cannon, SVP, upscale brands at Choice Hotels, said in a statement. "We're thrilled to once again have worked with Fillmore Hospitality to bring this great property to market. It follows recent Cambria and Fillmore Capital Partners openings in Los Angeles – LAX, Chicago Magnificent Mile and Southlake – DFW."

The Cambria Hotel New Orleans Warehouse District property offers contemporary on-site dining, serving a menu comprised of local specialties, signature cocktails and area craft beers, as well as grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches. The property also includes 1,200 square feet of meeting space and a fitness center.

Choice Hotels again teamed up with Fillmore Hospitality, a management company that provides a full spectrum of development, investment and property management services to owners of hotels and resorts throughout North America. Fillmore now opened four Cambria hotels, and early next year will expand the brand to Nashville.

"Choice Hotels has been a tremendous collaborator every step of the way, providing all of the resources to help us open the doors to now four Cambria properties," Ron Silva, president of Fillmore Capital Partners, said in a statement. "New Orleans is a city of rich history and year-after-year one of the most popular U.S. cities for leisure and business. This new Cambria property is in a prime location where guests can truly experience all of this city's charm."
