David Mexico Design Group crafts Nashville-inspired Bobby Hotel

The new Bobby Hotel is open in Nashville. Involved in the design of the property was New York-based David Mexico Design Group.

Tapping into the building’s bank heritage, the hotel’s design is rooted in Nashville. Design elements include a lobby chandelier constructed solely of car parts, marble columns, a wall inspired by safety deposit boxes and industrial metal details with steel and titanium.

The property has 144 guestrooms with Rorschach ink blot carpeting, historic world maps inspired by the musicians’ life on the road and bedside journals.

The rooftop bar features a repurposed 1956 Scenicruiser bus. There are three additional food-and-beverage options, the Café at Bobby, Tavern at Bobby and Bobby’s Garage, which has a retractable stage lit by car headlights.

Bobby Hotel is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle Collection. It is the third project of Nashville-based Castlerock Asset Management.
