AmericInn signs new hotel in Sleepy Eye, Minn.

AmericInn, the largest mid-scale hotel brand in the upper Midwest, is expanding into Sleepy Eye, Minn., with the signing of a new AmericInn at 1100 Main Street East Sleepy Eye, Minn. 

AmericInn Hotel and Suites Sleepy Eye is a conversion that will be attached to the new Sleepy Eye Event Center. This is the fourth AmericInn for Mike and Jeff Ruhr, and the property will open in spring 2017. The property will undergo a full renovation including updates to the exterior, guestrooms, guest bathrooms and public areas. Once completed the property will include signature AmericInn hospitality concept and services including an indoor pool, meeting room and fitness center.

Sleepy Eye is located in South Central Minnesota, and the property is located off Highway 14, and close to a number of parks, restaurants and the Chief Sleepy Eye Monument. The hotel will offer a signature AmericInn Perk breakfast including a variety of hot, home-style breakfast selections along with a 24-hour coffee bar. Additional AmericInn offerings include Serta Perfect Sleeper beds and the Easy Rewards guest loyalty program.

Recently, AmericInn has recently signed new properties in Streator, Ill.; Mount Pleasant, Iowa; Delafield, Wis.; DeWitt, Iowa; Burnsville, Minn.; Winona, Minn.; La Crosse, Wis.; Baxter Minn.; and Humboldt, Iowa.
