IPD Hospitality to operate Hampton Inn in Columbus, Ohio

IPD Hospitality, an Atlanta-based management company, has been selected to manage the Hampton Inn in Columbus, Ohio. Richard Norton, president of IPD Hospitality, made the announcement.

The 79-room hotel recently completed a $1.5-million renovation. The new guestrooms offer offer 42-inch HDTVs, free Wi-Fi, a sofa bed, coffeemaker, refrigerator, work desk and bathrooms with walk-in showers. Other amenities include an indoor pool, fitness center, meeting rooms with audiovisual equipment rentals and a business center.

The Columbus Hotel Investment Group recently purchased the property and will be working closely with IPD Hospitality to oversee operations. This is IPD’s first property in the state of Ohio.
