Premier Inn announces new English developments
18 Jan, 2012
Premier Inn is set to open a new hotel and restaurant development in Camborne, a town in west Cornwall, England. The new Table Table restaurant, named Trevithick Inn and Premier Inn hotel will be opening on Treswithian Road this month.
The new site will incorporate a number of key green initiatives. Efficient under-floor heating will be incorporated in the Trevithick Inn to avoid the need for radiators; solar PV panels will provide electricity and electric car charging points will be installed in the car park. Similarly, LED lighting will be fitted in the reception and restaurant to reduce electricity consumption. The hotel will have 65 bedrooms and will cater for up to two adults and two children (aged 15 and under).
The brand will also open a property in Coventry's city center south on January 23. The 100-room Premier Inn Coventry hotel is the first phase of a new development at Earlsdon Park as part of the converted Old City College building. On the same day, the brand, in partnership with Whitbread Plc, will open the first Premier Inn hotel in Warwick (pictured above). The 124-room hotel is located on Haywood Road.
