The Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow in January will become part of the Radisson Collection.
Once the tallest hotel in Europe, the former Ukraina Hotel, which opened on May 25, 1957, is on the banks of the Moskva River and located in one of the capital's "Seven Sisters," a collection of neoclassical skyscrapers. It became the Radisson Royal in 2010.
“This property is the perfect illustration of what Radisson Collection stands for; and it's only natural that it's the first-ever Radisson Collection property in Moscow,” said Elie Younes, EVP and CDO at Radisson Hotel Group. “The hotel is a destination in its own right and the ideal base from which to explore one of the most exciting and vibrant cities in the world.”
The hotel has 501 rooms and suites as well as its own art collection, a diorama of Moscow, 26 shops and a collection of 10 yachts for river cruises.
