InterContinental Budapest completes upgrades
2 Feb, 2012InterContinental Budapest hotel in Hungary has completed an overhaul of its conference and events floor.
Following the makeover, the entire conference and events area in the first floor of the building are now equipped with new banquet furniture pieces, carpeting, lighting fixtures, wall coverings, as well as décor. The look of the revamped conference space matches the interior of the guest rooms and Club Lounge, which received a facelift in 2009. The area now bears a Hungarian undertone accentuated by use of shades.
The design of every meeting room on the first floor of the building allows natural light penetration. All the rooms have been installed with new audio-visual technology, with the smaller rooms fitted with built-in beamers and screens to facilitate video conferencing, meetings, receptions, and other social events.
The floor was also installed with LED lighting systems, which can alter their colors depending on the type of event. There are also door screens measuring 17 inches customized for placement of logos, presentations, as well as short videos. In addition, the conference and meeting facilities of the hotel allow glimpses of the Royal Castle and Chain Bridge.
