Dormakaba introduces the secure, easy-to-use Ambiance access-management software and mobile tablet key encoding system. Ambiance is globally available for all Saflok System 6000 users and is scalable to make it a perfect upgrade for any property that wants to offer guests the latest radio frequency identification platform for electronic door locks with the convenience of mobile access.
“Dormakaba’s Ambiance software makes hospitality access management smart and secure,” said Barbara Krzywoszanski, senior product manager responsible for Ambiance, in a statement. “Dormakaba’s partnership with Aava Mobile expands Ambiance functionality by providing remote tablet key encoding that delivers a variety of flexible access control options for our customers. Operators can use Ambiance with Aava mobile tablet for curbside key encoding and guest line busting to provide a faster, more convenient check-in process.”
Combined with dormakaba’s mobile access solutions, Ambiance is an affordable mobile access key delivery program for boutique-sized properties that require minimal technical support for their electronic door locks, the company said. Staff and management are able to access scheduling and property-management options in Ambiance for a customized security configuration. The system is a valuable upgrade path for qualified Saflok System 6000 users.
Ambiance access-management software was previously only available in North America. Today, the system serves the growing international hotel market with advanced access-control features. It is flexible to meet the needs of large resorts and boutique properties with the most challenging configuration requirements. Ambiance manages dormakaba’s Saflok BLE and RFID hotel guest access systems. Ilco RFID lock support is expected in spring 2019.
