G6 Hospitality partners with HotelKey for PMS

G6 Hospitality LLC, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in the U.S. and Canada and Hotel 6 and Estudio 6 in Latin America, has partnered with HotelKey. G6 Hospitality is rolling out the new property management system at nearly 700 Motel 6 and Studio 6 locations to-date, and is on-track to convert the brand's entire North America portfolio of more than 1,400 company-owned and franchised locations by September.

HotelKey features tablet-compatible property management software that allows hotel operators to welcome guests through a simple cloud-based application, while improving the front desk appearance by eliminating unnecessary clutter and devices. The HotelKey mobile platform offers user-friendly, touch-screen technology to support every aspect of hotel management through the core Frontdesk PMS application. With HotelKey, there will be the opportunity for Motel 6 and Studio 6 guests to receive their receipt via email upon check in, which will cut down the company's environmental footprint.

"At G6 Hospitality, we strive to provide our guests with convenient quality service from the moment they arrive, and that means having a reliable and easy-to-use property management system in place," said Jessie Burgess, EVP and CIO at G6 Hospitality LLC. "And the benefits of HotelKey will also positively impact our franchisees. HotelKey creates the flexibility for Motel 6 and Studio 6 franchisees to effectively manage their property from any device, helping to streamline their operations across the board and most importantly, enhancing the guest experience."

Since its acquisition by Blackstone in 2012, G6 Hospitality has been undergoing a complete technology overhaul of its platforms, processes and systems to support its network of more than 1,400 corporate-owned and franchisee properties, and HotelKey is another core component of this transformation.

As these new program enhancements debut at corporate and franchise locations in the U.S. and Canada, G6 Hospitality will continue its global implementation of the HotelKey property management system into 2018, with an immediate focus on Latin America and Indian territories.
