Pursell Farms, a luxury golf and spa destination in Sylacauga, Ala., installed dormakaba’s Quantum RFID mobile-access-capable electronic locks. Dormakaba’s locks interface with the property’s front-office system for seamless guest service. Pursell Farms’ managers can also audit each guestroom lock for access accountability and guest peace of mind.
“We researched the latest electronic lock solutions. Pursell Farms selected dormakaba because its lock systems are excellent and their team behind the technology was the most professional we met with,” Martin Pursell, brand development for Pursell Farms, said in a statement. “We are an 81-room property with 40 centralized rooms in the Inn and 41 decentralized that include cabins, cottages and the Parker Lodge. Our rooms had a mix of metal keys and legacy magstripe locks.”
Quantum RFID offers a two-piece modular design for a sleek look and superior lock performance. The lock is Bluetooth Low Energy capable. Properties can either adopt the mobile-access technology immediately or upgrade their locks when they decide to go entirely mobile.
