Soon-to-open Hotel Landing to feature latest advanced technology

The Hotel Landing in Wayzata, Minn., has partnered with guest-service platform company iRiS and commercial audio and design company AVI Systems to create an ultra high-tech experience for hotel guests.

Opening in mid-June, The Hotel Landing will be the first hotel in the Midwest to feature the iRiS platform, which provides hotel guests with a host of services via an app and website landing page that can be accessed by phone, computer or tablet.

The platform will allow guests to request check-in remotely, view hotel information, amenities and local weather, plus request concierge assistance, order room service, and make restaurant and spa reservations. All hotel rooms will feature a 55-inch LCD/HD Smart TV, and guests will be able to connect their own devices via HDMI cable to stream movies, listen to music, check social media and view photos. Streaming music may also be accessed via Bluetooth.

The Hotel Landing will meet business travelers’ needs with a corporate gathering space ideal for sales meetings, training seminars, board meetings and more. The hotel’s boardroom will accommodate these events via cutting-edge technology, with an executive-style boardroom table including eight pop-up microphones and the latest conferencing technology installed by AVI Systems. Meeting attendees will have access to extensive presentation capabilities, and integrated audio and video teleconferencing. This technology will provide business travelers with high-tech capabilities usually only found in commercial boardrooms.

The Hotel Landing, which is the final block of The Promenade of Wayzata, is locally owned by BohLand Hotel Group and managed by Hay Creek Hotels. The Hotel Landing will feature 92 guest rooms and suites, a two-story restaurant with generous outdoor seating capacity, a private dining room and contemporary bar, as well as upscale meeting and banquet facilities.

The building will also contain 31 luxury residential condominiums with secure owner access and private parking. Condominium residents will receive concierge services provided by the hotel, to include room service, laundry, housekeeping, shopping and pet walking. First floor retail stores will be accessible from Lake Street and will add to the growing collection of fine retail opportunities in downtown Wayzata.
