Mumford Company completes sale of Courtyard in Goshen, Ind.13 Sep, 2013
Mumford Company has announced the sale of the Courtyard by Marriott Goshen in Indiana, having represented the seller and its representatives, Morris Lasky Receiver and Torchlight Investments. The buyer was a North Carolina-based multi-unit owner and operator.
Plans call for the hotel to be renovated and rebranded. A transaction price was not disclosed.
The sale was closed in six months from the lisiting date, according to Mumford, which received numerous qualified buyers.
The two-story interior corridor, 91-room hotel was built in 1989 and includes an indoor and outdoor pool. Local demand generators include Goshen College.
Steve Kirby, principal of the Mumford Company's Atlanta office, Ed James, principal of the firm's Newport News, Va., office and Lance Potter, VP of the firm's Chicago office worked on the sale.Topic : Mumford Company
