Wyndham offers LHA membership to new franchisees
14 Jan, 2011Highlighting its commitment to hoteliers in Latin America, Wyndham Hotel Group is offering new franchisees a complimentary one-year membership to the Latino Hotel Association when they sign a franchise agreement with the company in 2011.
The initiative, which provides new franchisees with access to industry leading tools and information, is the latest in a series of efforts by Wyndham Hotel Group to show its support for the growing number of hoteliers in the region.
“The hospitality industry continues to evolve throughout Latin America and with nearly 110 hotels and a growing number of franchisees there, it’s in our interest to do everything we can to help further that evolution,” said Marco Roca, Wyndham Hotel Group senior vice president of development, Latin America. “By providing new franchisees with this complimentary membership, we’re not only demonstrating our continued commitment to their success but offering them access to an array of tools, training and relationships that will help them grow their business.”
Among the resources that the LHA provides, members have access to exclusive industry networking events, educational webinars and seminars, industry research and statistics and regular newsletter and e-mail alerts.
“Latin America is a massive market that has yet to meet its full brand potential,” said Angela Gonzalez-Rowe, president and founder of the LHA. “With this effort, Wyndham Hotel Group is truly demonstrating its leadership and commitment to improving the hotel industry in the region. Started in 2010, the LHA is dedicated to representing the business interests of Latino hotel owners, operators and developers and expanding their role in the leadership of the lodging industry.
