ABVI adds 18 new hotels in first quarter

Americas Best Value Inn added 18 new properties totaling 1,162 room during the first quarter of 2014, Vantage Hospitality Group, ABVI's parent company reports.
 
In Texas, where it has over 120 locations, ABVI welcomed six more, including two in Houston and a 160-room property in Corpus Christi. Among the other additions are a 113-room inn in Wilmington, N.C.; a 93-room location in Hammond, La.; and properties in tourist destinations such as Augusta, Ga., and Ozark, Ark., which is on the southern edge of the Ozark Mountains.
 
The hotels included conversions from Best Western, Days Inn and Travelodge.
 
A limited-service brand, ABVI operates under Vantage Hospitality’s Freestyle brand affiliation.
