Paramount Hotel Group, Aqua-Aston Hospitality, Access Hotels & Resorts and Benchmark Resorts & Hotels have begun managing properties in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arizona, California and Washington.
Paramount Hotel Group
Paramount Hotel Group has added four Marriott International hotels to its management portfolio. In Texas, the company added two properties within an hour of Houston: the 118-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston Rosenberg and the 121-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston Conroe Near The Woodlands. Additionally, it has begun managing the 127-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tampa North/I-75 Tampa Palms in Florida and the 220-room New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway in Louisiana.
Aqua-Aston Hospitality
Honolulu-based Aqua-Aston Hospitality has taken over management of the 32-room CopperWynd Resort & Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. The property, Aqua-Aston’s first managed resort in Arizona, is in the middle of a $60 million renovation and expansion. Upon its anticipated completion in 2020, the hotel will join Marriott International’s Autograph Collection. Amenities include a 26,000-square-foot lobby and restaurant, a full-service spa, a fitness center, two swimming pools and a tennis court.
Access Hotels & Resorts
Access Hotels & Resorts now manages The Marker San Francisco. The upscale hotel includes 208 guestrooms, an Italian trattoria and bar and 12,000 square feet of meeting spaces and ballrooms. All the hotel’s public spaces and group meeting and event venues underwent an extensive renovation in 2018. The hotel, owned by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, is located next door to Access Hotels & Resorts’ other San Francisco location, Hotel Spero.
Benchmark Resorts & Hotels
Earlier this month, Benchmark Resorts & Hotels took over management of Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Wash. The hotel, also owned by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, overlooks the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area and is located 45 minutes out from Portland, Ore. The lodge’s 22,000 square feet of conference space includes 23 meeting rooms, which, at their largest, can accommodate up to 500 guests.
