Best Western expands in Indonesia with Premier hotel

Best Western Hotels & Resorts is making its debut in Indonesia's third-largest city, Bandung, with the launch of the 193-room Best Western Premier La Grande Hotel, which will open on Dec. 1. The hotel is located minutes from Bandung's central business district and main retail and entertainment areas.

The hotel will include eight meeting rooms and a business center, along with a spa, heated swimming pool and fitness center.

There is also a restaurant serving Indonesian, Asian and international cuisine.

"Indonesia is one of the world's most exciting emerging markets, and as the country's third largest city, Bandung is becoming a major hub for domestic and international business and leisure travel," said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts' Managing Director of International Operations - Asia.

"In recent years Best Western has made excellent progress with our Indonesian expansion strategy, opening modern, international hotels in key destinations across the country. The launch of our debut hotel in Bandung marks a major milestone for our company, and for the city.

The hotel becomes the 16th Best Western hotel in Indonesia, covering nine destinations: Bali, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Surakarta, Makassar, Malang, Pontianak and Bogor.
