3 hotels break ground in California, Georgia

Bode, a hotel company targeting group lifestyle travelers, and Vision Hospitality Group have broken ground on hotels in California and Georgia, respectively.

Bode broke ground on its first new-build location, Bode Palm Springs (Calif.), earlier this month. The 43,679-square-foot property will feature 38 units, including two- to four-bedroom options. It will also offer several entertainment outlets, including The Hub, a two-level lounge with a patio, pool and bar. Bode has opened two renovated properties so far, one in Nashville in 2018 and the other in Chattanooga, Tenn., in June 2019. Bode plans on opening five new locations over the next two years, including Bode Palm Springs, which is slated to debut in 2021.

Vision Hospitality, in partnership with Blue Ridge Hotel, broke ground on the 109-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Blue Ridge (Ga.). Slated to open in early 2021, the hotel will feature 1,200 square feet of meeting space and a rooftop bar. It will be located in downtown Blue Ridge, near breweries, wineries and retail.

In Atlanta, Vision Hospitality also recently broke ground on the 156-room AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter Center. The hotel will feature a rooftop bar, a fitness center and AC Hotels by Marriott brand standards, such as an AC Lounge, AC Kitchen, AC Market and AC Library. Located near the city’s Perimeter Center Mall, the property will be positioned near State Farm, UPS, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Mercedes Benz USA.
