My Place Hotel breaks ground in Washington

Pacific NW Vancouver broke ground on a three-story, 64-unit My Place Hotel in Vancouver, Wash., on March 10. The hotel is expected to open this summer.

The hotel will mark the brand’s first location in the Portland, Ore., area. This spring, Pacific Northwest My Place Hotels—which Pacific NW Vancouver is a subsidiary of—plans to return to the area to break ground on another My Place Hotel in East Portland, Ore.

“Paired with its closeness to the Vancouver Mall and convenient access to I-205, we’re excited to provide the Vancouver community with a great deal of value as My Place makes its debut in the Greater Portland area,” Joe Dinger, VP of development at Pacific Northwest My Place Hotels, said in a statement. “We couldn’t have chosen a more ideal location.”

“The Pacific Northwest continues to provide us with unparalleled opportunities to expand and embrace the culture of the many diverse hubs throughout the region that perfectly align with our own company culture,” Terry Kline, My Place Hotels’ EVP of franchise development, said in a statement.

My Place Hotels has 54 hotels open across 25 states with more than 120 in its pipeline.
