Bigger is better: Hand Grade collection by Havwoods

Made from engineered oak, the collection includes planks that measure 13 feet long and range from 11 inches to 19 inches wide.

Havwoods, a UK-based hardwood flooring company entering the North American market, launched the Hand Grade collection.

Made from engineered oak, the collection includes planks that measure 13-feet-long and range from 11 inches to 19 inches wide compared to the standard six to eight feet long and seven inches wide.

Hand Grade is a pre-finished engineered board of triple layered construction, with a nominal six-millimeter wear layer of European oak, water boil proof (WBP) core and European Oak base, which comes in a choice of two surfaces. Both surfaces are finished with hardwax oil, and the entire collection is suitable for use over underfloor heating. The collection comes in eight shades. The collection has earned FSC and Cradle to Cradle (Bronze) certifications.
