Conversation piece: Skydro ceiling lamp from Artemide

The Skydro ceiling lamp is the latest addition to the Hydro series from Artemide.

With Skydro, a series of pebbles forms a bright sky reflecting the light that bounces on its biomorphic surfaces. Like its cousin, the Mercury suspension lamp, Skydro uses a mirror-treated die-cast aluminum diffuser and a painted steel-bearing structure. The light source is LED.

Individual units can be added and assembled for custom applications, creating possibilities for an entire nest of Skydros.
