Tile Bar has launched the Bella collection of encaustic porcelain tiles.
Regarded as an art form since the 1800s, encaustic tile brings complex patterns to vertical and horizontal surfaces. The Bella collection includes 13 options, with six neutral options like the black-and-white Mori (which features a dynamic Greek key design) and gray-toned Picasso (available in Nero and Blanco, and which presents an intricate floral motif).
The collection also includes Soumaya, which plays with hexagonal shapes in orange and gray hues; pink Tate and blue Moma, both ornamental patterns that harken back to historical encaustic tiles. Meanwhile, the Uffizi tile has blues and browns in bursts of pattern resembling everything from Islamic stars to Chinese fireworks.
