Fun with patterns: Axminster carpet by Royal American

The Axminster carpet by Royal American is constructed primarily of wool, with 20 percent anti-static nylon (100 percent wool can be specified).

The carpet uses a woven technique wherein the backing and pile are woven simultaneously. This eliminates the need for a secondary backing. The threads are interlocked in such a way that the tufts of carpet are secured between themselves, row by row. Intended for public spaces with heavy traffic, the wool in Axminster carpet has vibrant colors, absorbs air pollutants, resists dirt, and provides sound insulation.

Additionally, the carpet is naturally flame retardant, as well as renewable, biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
