Lighting design company Foscarini launched Buds. Following a line of namesake suspension lamps introduced in the nineties, Rodolfo Dordoni collaborated with Foscarini to breathe new life into Buds, a suite of lamps designed in response to Dordogne's inspiration from natural elements like petals, fruits and succulents.
The new piece has a mouth-blown shade crafted through an artisanal process of glass layering, so that crystal, color, white, paliesco and crystal again come together to create the sculpted form. There are three versions of the table lamp, each with a different shape. A specific color is designated for each — brown, gray, or bamboo green — and white is an option for all three. The lamps have a geometrical shape beneficial for various contract settings.
