Inspired by nature: Michael Young’s Bamboo lamps by Zens Lifestyle

Home decor and lifestyle brand Zens Lifestyle collaborated with industrial designer Michael Young to produce a new line of Bamboo lamps.

Reportedly inspired by the sunlight that emerges through the trees in a bamboo forest, Young played with natural materials for the new lighting collection. The bamboo for each light was selected for its shape and color from the Jian forest in Eastern China. The bamboo was then treated in order to maintain its natural hue before being paired with lighting components.

Available are pink, white or gray domed lampshades created in either hand-blown glass or traditional Chinese handmade paper top the bamboo poles.
