Kettal has launched additional pieces to the Cala collection.
The Cala chair was first launched in 2016, combining large natural curves with a latticed rope weave that is said to have created a “majestic spatial presence with transparent and light surfaces.” The idea evolved with Doshi Levien creating additional pieces to make a collection, including a dining chair, series of tables and low foot stools.
The dining table has a monolithic presence, providing contrast to the lightness of the chairs. A range of different tops are set into the table frame, including wood and marble. The same frame construction can be recognized in the low tables and foot stools that complete the Cala collection.
