Multifaceted lighting: Albedo suspension lamp by FontanaArte

Albedo suspension lamp

Introducing Studio Drift’s Albedo suspension lamp for FontanaArte. Laser-cut fabric is folded and stitched to create the shade itself, and then the material is mounted onto the metal structured base. The result is multifaceted, unusual shapes inspired by sea creatures. The light source is housed inside a central cylindrical volume in polycarbonate, which produces a light that the fabric diffuser helps to reflect and radiate. The cylinder has an upper cover, which can be removed when the bulb needs replacing.
