Multiple layers: Strata collection by Samuel & Sons

New York-based Passementerie House, Samuel & Sons, has introduced a new collection of trimmings inspired by the colors and multiple layers found within the Earth’s core. The Strata collection of trimmings mixes earthy tones with herringbone patterns from the fashion world. The herringbone patterns are reflected in Strata’s Chevron Border and the weave structure of the Strata Cord. These tailored geometrics are complimented by the Strata Strie Border and the Strata Ombre Border.

Comprising seven patterns in 21 colors, Strata’s palette includes a combination of neutrals, mineral tones, brights and deeper hues. Each pattern can be used independently or combined to create a dramatic fusion of color.
