Smooth curves: Side by Side by Davis Furniture

Designed by Dick Spierenburg and Karel Boonzaaijer, Side by Side was envisioned as an entire series with smooth curvature and straight edges.

Davis Furniture has released its Side by Side modular seating.

Designed by Dick Spierenburg and Karel Boonzaaijer, Side by Side was created to be an entire series characterized by the smooth curves of the seat design contrasted with the straight edges of the exterior.

The building blocks for Side by Side are left-facing, right-facing and straight, allowing designers to create individual seating areas or to fill an entire room. The chairs can be used for lobbies as well as guestrooms, with high or low backs for more or less privacy as desired.
