Foscarini has launched its new Arumi line of lamps.
Design duo Lucidi Pevere experimented with unconventional materials as a foundation of the suspension lamp. The outer layer is made of raw aluminum, which created a rugged texture. A discreet inner shade is constructed using a contrasting shiny and smooth metal to reflect the rays from the LED light source. A metal ring at the rim adds more texture and complexity to the lamp.
