A. Herbert Mathes-designed Allison Hotel overhauled, re-opens as Hilton Cabana Miami Beach

Miami Beach's newest Hilton Hotels & Resorts property, Hilton Cabana Miami Beach, débuted in the heart of Miami Beach. Located at 6261 Collins Avenue at 62nd Street, this contemporary, full-service hotel has 231 guestrooms and is set within the sub-market known as "Millionaire's Row," which is filled with restaurants, nightlife, entertainment and shopping.

This new oceanfront hotel is located near South Beach, Bal Harbour, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, Aventura Mall, the Design District and South Florida's many attractions, and is 13 miles north of Miami International Airport and 19 miles south of Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. The Port of Miami and the Miami Convention Center are also nearby.

The property used to be the Allison Hotel, designed by architect A. Herbert Mathes and built in 1951 according to the city's historic district designation report.

Upon arrival in the property, guests are surrounded by ocean views and contemporary public spaces. Hilton Cabana Miami Beach consists of a 10-story main building and a six-story Cabana-style building, both with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami Beach. Offering 231 guestrooms, including 12 suites, with décor reminiscent of the golden age of 1950s Miami Beach, all accommodations at the property are non-smoking and oversized with standard guestrooms more than 376 square feet.

All guestrooms have in-room amenities such as 42-inch flat-screen TV, in-room safe, work desk with ergonomic chair and in-room mini bar. In-room Wi-Fi is complimentary. There are oversized windows that open, and some guestrooms include balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay or the pool. The hotel has 12 suites with different configurations, including junior suites, one bedroom suites and two signature suites - The Allison Suite and The Collins Suite. The hotel's bathrooms have backlit vanities and walk-in shower.

Hilton Cabana Miami Beach offers various dining options, including L'echon Brasserie.

Suitable for hosting events for up to 120 people, Hilton Cabana Miami Beach offers three spaces for special events, including space within the outdoor pools, a 2,000 square-foot outdoor courtyard area, and the ability to book private functions at L'echon Brasserie, the hotel's signature restaurant. Both outdoor pools are capable of hosting private parties. With its oceanfront accommodations, the hotel is also ideal for group room blocks for up to 75 people.

Additional onsite amenities include a Connectivity Center with Wi-Fi access; a 24-hour fitness facility; and a full-service Concierge Desk within the hotel lobby.
