Above the rest: Dream bed by Arketipo Firenze

Italian brand Arketipo Firenze launched a new bed designed by Giuseppe Viganò. Characterized by its prominent seams and voluminous pillows, the auto-reverse Dream bed has two reversible pillows that serve as a headboard, while a wide padded base juts out below the mattress. The design appears to float above the ground, but underneath four discreet aluminum, brass or titanium legs provide support.

The zip colors, fabrics and leathers come in a range of colors and finishes. The bed follows on from Arketipo Firenze’s existing auto-reverse sofa design that features the same upholstery and style.

Tuscan furniture brand Arketipo Firenze was founded in 1982 to create upholstered furniture. In 2008, the brand expanded its product offering with the addition of tables, lighting, desks, rugs and other furniture and accessories. The brand employs its own craftsmen who create each piece using traditional manufacturing techniques.
