The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee, which Schwartz leads, earlier launched a recycling and composting program that is diverting an increasingly amount of single stream recycling and organic waste from the landfills. American Hotel recently signed an agreement with Mind-Click Consortium, joining many hotel brands, manufacturers and suppliers to work towards a transparent social responsibility index.
