American Hotel Register Company appoints new director of FF&E design and social responsibility

American Hotel Register Company appointed Deidre Schwartz as the new director of FF&E design and social responsibility for the company.

In this new role, Schwartz is expected to grow the hospitality supply company’s FF&E design business, as well as its expanding social responsibility initiatives.

Schwartz’s seven-year tenure included providing the vision, in 2013, for the company’s newly re-designed FF&E INSPIRED catalog. A 120-page supplement to this catalog is due out this September.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee, which Schwartz leads, earlier launched a recycling and composting program that is diverting an increasingly amount of single stream recycling and organic waste from the landfills. American Hotel recently signed an agreement with Mind-Click Consortium, joining many hotel brands, manufacturers and suppliers to work towards a transparent social responsibility index.
