Architectural Design Firm SR3Design Opens

Stacey Larsen, Ryan Oxford and Oz Ekviriyakul, previously of the interior architectural design firm Wilson Associates, have opened the architectural design firm, SR3 Design.

Previously part of the senior management team, the three will lead the firm of industry veterans, headquartered in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The trio has worked on projects worldwide, including Four Seasons, St. Regis, Fairmont, Hilton and Marriott.

Last month, SR3 signed a Joint Venture agreement with the Chennai-based hospitality company, Auromatrix Hotels (P) Ltd.

Together, the two companies will offer affordable, high-end design starting this year to hospitality companies, resorts, restaurants, clubs, casinos, townships, residences and major infrastructure throughout India and Sri Lanka.

Larsen, the firm’s president and CEO, said, “The economic downturn mandates it’s no longer business as usual. We have joined together with an understanding that things can be done faster and less expensively, while still creating exceptional design.”

Shekar Sitaraman, a principal at Auromatrix, said, “The firm offers an organic approach, from conceptual design through final installation. These efficiencies will create magnificent interiors, known as much for their design and sense of place as for their commitment to bottom-line success.”
