Arquitectonica collaborate with Clodagh Design for EAST, Miami

Swire Hotels announced the scheduled opening this winter of EAST, Miami. Located at Brickell City Centre, the property will be part of Swire Properties' $1.05 billion mixed-use development in Miami.

EAST, Miami was designed by architecture firm Arquitectonica with interiors by New York-based Clodagh Design. It will have 352 guestrooms including eight suites and 89 one, two-, and three-bedroom residences that will have kitchens, laundry facilities and access to the amenities and services of the hotel. Ranging in size from 300 square feet to 1,800 square feet, all rooms, suites and residences will have balconies, contemporary interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Miami and Biscayne Bay.

For dining, the property will have Quinto La Huella. The restaurant will be located on the hotel’s fifth floor and have indoor and outdoor seating, views, a stone hearth oven and a sushi bar. The hotel will also have a rooftop bar, Sugar, designed by Los Angeles-based Studio Collective.

EAST, Miami will have a paperless arrival and departure service. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available throughout the property. The hotel will have a lobby café and bar called Domain.

For events, EAST, Miami will have meeting rooms and banquet halls. Four workshops located on the 6th floor will range in size from 640 square feet to 840 square feet. The 38th floor will have two 1,400-square feet pre-function spaces, Rise and Set, and a 400-square-foot boardroom, High Noon. On the 39th floor, the hotel will have a 3,400-square-foot ballroom known as The Crush, with 270 degrees of ocean and urban views. Meanwhile, the Shrubbery and Sugar will be for outdoor events.

Other amenities will include a fitness center and pool deck.

The hotel will be the hotel group's first property in the US and the third hotel under the EAST brand, after the openings of EAST, Hong Kong in Island East in 2010 and EAST, Beijing at INDIGO, Beijing in 2013.
