Artful fabric: Ferrick Mason line by fabric artist Alex Mason

Introducing a fabric line from Ferrick Mason by Alex Mason.

Ferrick Mason is known for the handpainted quality of its fabrics, made in the US. Ferrick Mason fabrics are printed using hand silk screen, rotary, and digital printing methods. Color combinations, imperfect lines and shapes and abstract berries, flowers and plants are signatures of the Ferrick Mason collection.

The original designs have been hand painted by Alex Mason herself. After studying at Otis College of Art & Design and receiving her MFA in painting from Pratt Institute, Mason created paintings for hotels and galleries around the world – including the Bellagio Las Vegas and Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage – and now her designs have come to the new collection for the Ferrick Mason line.  Once painted, Alex’s textile designs are then printed using silk screen, rotary and digital printing methods, which results in a collection of fabrics.
