Ashdown Park Hotel reveals refurbished Mary Towneley Lounge

Luxury Sussex retreat Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club completed the recent refurbishment of its Mary Towneley Lounge.  Situated within Ashdown Park’s former chapel, the recently renovated lounge is ideal for delegates to unwind between meetings, brainstorm ideas as a breakout area or host a drinks reception prior to an event held in the Harry Clarke Suite.

The refurbishment took inspiration from its use in 1920, when Ashdown Park was a convent, and the Mary Towneley Lounge was used by nuns as a place of contemplation.

The lounge, which overlooks the east wing courtyard, offers delegates a private area with direct access to a secluded outdoor setting. Facilities include LED TVs, and two tea and coffee service stations.
