Developed by East West Partners, the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain invested $4 million for upgrades to the property.
Originally opened in 2008, the property saw the completion of a major Spa Anjali renovation that included a new reception area and relaxation lounge, along with an expanded salon, spa boutique and Howard Head Sports Medicine facilities. The resort’s pool deck was similarly upgraded with new patio furniture and a new paver heating system that is both visually more appealing and allows for better snow removal in the winter months, making it a year-round amenity.
The Westin Riverfront also completed an upgrade to its wireless Internet system and opened an on-site Hertz Rent-a-Car location. It enhanced its food and beverage service in the lobby and relocated and remodeled The Lift, which serves breakfast and lunch daily.
The Westin Riverfront’s 15 point enhancement plan similarly included: the addition of new yoga studio, new Pilates studio with four Reformer machines, renovated Movement Studio, new cycling studio and renovated Athletic Club locker rooms.
This fall, The Westin Riverfront will complete a new full-service Starbucks directly off of the Riverfront Gondola Plaza. The hotel is also launching an remodel of all of the guest wing corridors, including new wall coverings and carpet.
The AAA Four Diamond Westin Riverfront features 230 guest residences ranging from studio suites to three-bedroom condominiums, all with custom kitchens, five-piece bathrooms, gas fireplaces and Westin Heavenly Beds. Amenities include a ski valet, a Westin Kids Club, the Athletic Club at The Westin, an outdoor pool and three infinity-edged hot tubs. Spa Anjali offers a menu of treatments focusing on healing mountain traditions.
The Westin Riverfront offers direct access to Beaver Creek’s powder via the Riverfront Express Gondola in the winter; and fly fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking and golf in the spring, summer and fall.
